Town of Carberry Wins AMM's Municipal Excellence Award

The Town of Carberry was presented with the 5th Annual Municipal Excellence Award from the Association of Manitoba Municipalities yesterday at the Municipal Officals Seminar in Brandon. The Town of Carberry was selected for its Main Street Heritage Conservation District Project along with co-winners Town of Altona and Town of Plum Coulee for their Regional Police Services Agreement.
The submissions were judged on creativity, cost-effectiveness, sustainability, and overall benefit to the municipality.

The Municipal Heritage Advisory Committee is now accepting applications for the Town of Carberry Heritage Grant.
