Spruce Woods Provincial Park

Only 20 minutes south of Carberry on Highway #5, lies beautiful Spruce Woods Provincial Park.

Explore the shifting sand dunes and the unique flora and fauna found in this majestic desert paradise.

You can hike one of the many desert trails, take a guided covered-wagon ride through the sandhills or discover the Devil’s Punch Bowl – an eerie blue-green spring-fed pond.

The Kiche Manitou Campground offers an array of sites both serviced and unserviced. Private, well-treed and impeccably maintained, your camping experience can be as rustic or as comfortable as you choose.

Miniature golf, paddle boat rentals, a beach and picnic area, and a convenience store and canteen located in a replica Pine Fort, are just some of the amenities to enhance your Spruce Woods experience.

For a truly unique camping experience, rent a yurt, a large, round, domed structure that is part cabin, part tent. Complete with windows, skylight, electricity, heaters, and rustic log furniture, each yurt sleeps 4 adults or a family of 5 comfortably. Just bring your sleeping bag, pillow, food and cooking utensils.

To reserve a yurt or a campsite, call 1-888-482-2267 or online at www.manitobaparks.com.

Pack a picnic lunch and join us in the sun.
